+1, Have nothing but good to say about every car I've owned with extensive service records. Otherwise, it's a crapshoot. I would now rule out "rebuilt" title vehicles after this last shopping. Found 3 that looked good but had odometers showing over 100,000 mi less than multiple vehicle inspection records in other states. + 1 that had been totaled 2X in another state & 1 with flood damage. Be careful out there! Don

Exactly. I read that it's not possible to roll back odometer on these newer digital display Mercedes and that if console was changed odometer will show the highest of either vehicle or console. 2 were California cars, don't remember where other was from, but I saw multiple State insp. showing progressively higher miles than now showing on car.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Be careful. Apparently california is the number 1 state for doing such things. This is occurring more and more since the aftermarket technology is booming for coding and de-coding. When looking at repair reports always look at mileage in and mileage out. It really just boils down to basic instinct. You typically get a feeling when you look or sit in a vehicle whether its decent or not. Use your honest gut instinct and also get a second opinion.
Flood cars, hmmmmmm. lets just say people buy these flooded cars, fix them so they are safe and reliable then clean them up and sell them for 40% more then the got it for at the auction. All i will say in relation to water damage vehicles is get a PPI if you do find one for the low. It's cheaper for a reason but that again is a crapshoot. Corrosion and water damage spread once they infest electronics. So beware.

now that deep stuff idk lol i bought it 2 years ago at 106k. It came from auction, a lady owned it, prolly an elderly woman.
But it runs great, i check almost everything i can once or twice a week. No leakages, and no issues what so ever, besides i need new rotors and brakes but that's pretty much it.

Am I reading it right ... speedometer is in KM/H but the mileage reading is in miles? I'll pile on the fun ... my '06 has 22k miles and no problems at all - but being within the balance shaft range and trying to weigh the options against all the drama vs. reality. It's as bad as 911s and IMS.

2006 E350. 99400 miles and no serious issues at all. I've had the rear rolling blind, front ball joints, and SBC Brakes done under an extended warranty. I just replaced the rear subwoofer myself. Other than that, only thing this car has needed is an oil change and brakes

107,000 Mile E350
My 2006 E350 has 107,000 Miles and I've had it since it had 71,000 Miles. I bought from the dealer in 2014 and bought an aftermarket warranty for it. I have replaced all the front ball joints, control arms, the thruster arm.rear roller blind replaced, and the front door lock spring all replaced under warranty. I personally put a new front center air vent in to replace the original which had cracked. No major mechanical faults to report, just routine maintenance. I still love the car and plan on keeping it for a while.

I just got rid of my 05 CDI. the differential failed at 299650. Had since new. It had quite of rust, so I decided not to spend 2200 bucks for the differential and a brake job just to hit that magic 300,000.00. Instead a bought an 06 in great condition with only 133000 on it. I just love this car. Again.

2007 E550 4Matic, got 161k miles, ac compressor pulley and belt, tranny plate(got lucky on that one since certain models require dealer visit). Other then that nothing else just regular oil change stuff and maintenance. Have had it about 1 1/2 years now. I would buy another since its just and well engineered car and held up over years really well.

If you
What type of benz do you have. We had a C 43 AMG with 220K miles on it broke the spin wheel would have cost 3K to fix we sold the car to a charity for wounded solders. I have a E 350/ 08 with 164K replaced the fuel pump around 145K and gotta do the throtel control it just shakes a low RPM but overall not big problems. I talked to a guy who had a beautiful C 230 that had 435K miles on it I was amazed but I am sure he replaced a ton of stuff. Benz will last 200K+ if you really take care of them.

You and I are close on miles I am at 163K miles on my 2008 E 350 I had to replace the fuel pump around 145K miles and I might need a new throttle arm the computer is a little funky but my mechanic just resets it he said the cost is around $850 overall though nothing too wrong. I feel like we can get 200K easy if taken care of , I know a guy who has a C230 with 435K miles on it he re painted it and spent thousands on keeping it up. If you look up high mile cars there is a benz in India that has 2.3 million miles on it

346k miles and counting on an all original 2004 e320 wagon. No major mechanicals, maintenance kept up. Original engine and transmission (the latter of which may be on the way out).

227k original miles. Runs drives and shifts great. Still 23mpg highway. No leaks tick knocks or smoking only issues have been airmatic suspension( did bcracing coilover conversion) and exhaust just rusted in places and welds broke. Other than thst still runs better than most new cars.

177,000 miles E500 wagon . I am the third owner and I purchased at 129000 miles. The first two years after I purchased there was absolutely nothing that went wrong all I did was the scheduled maintenance. In my third year started driving the car as an Uber vehicle for roughly 8 hours a day and that's when things started going wrong .
front wheel bearings
alternator
overflow bottle and Associated hose
fuel pump
rear air Springs
check engine light still not resolved
and not necessarily the car's fault the sunroof got left open partially and flooded the driver's side seat and now I have a Sam issue
in all this is a fantastic car and now that I've driven it I am spoiled and I will probably keep this car running forever because it's got ***** and it's got comfort and it can go in the summer and with the 4matic you can go in the winter !

I have an E320 Estate (2004) with just over 495,000 miles on the clock.
Obviously needs things doing to it from time to time, but still cheaper than replacing (at the moment anyway). Unfortunately, we have nothing similar with which to compare, so problems can come with little warning.
Cost a fraction shy of £9,000 almost 10 years ago so not really complaining. I will be sad when it says it doesn't want to go any further.
