I have a 2016 and just hit 160k! It’s all highway miles, but haven’t had any issues yet w/exception of motor/trans mounts. I actually was driving with them bad for over a year and just replaced them. Crazy how quiet the cabin got.

yep i service a 230k 2006 E350 was purchased new by the dad, neglected it's entire life, and we just did the first engine and trans mounts, diff, trans fluid which might be original or not. I also service a few 200k E500's that are pretty mint.

needs 4 cam magnets, CPS as they're all leaking oil and hard coding for cam position errors, oil cooler/housing gaskets, time for plugs. the shocks are original and we're probably going to replace them with sachs + fresh rubber and hardware

the diff oil looked FINE at 230k and thats probably the worst case of neglecting that I've ever seen. That factory fill sure did it's job.

Mine is at 136k, the following that been replaced

at 120k my ball joint upper and lower, control arms were all worn out.
130k change the transmission fluid and filter
Differential gear oil changed out
Radiator flush changed the fluid and replaced the coolant reservoir since it was cracking and replace the all the hoses for good measure
Brake job front and back with new rotor at 120k
Spark plug changed at 120k
that's pretty much all routine maintenance but nothing ever broken on me but one thing did failed was my ESL (electronic steering lock) just recently and I had it replaced and programed

Hey all I’ve been keeping up with this thread. I sound a high mileage 2004 E320 W211 Wagon with the M112 engine and 722.6 transmission RWD for sale locally. The car has 304,000 kilometres on the clock but has maintenance records since new and seems to be well taken care of. It’s had the SBC pump, valve cover gasket, PS pump, driveshaft flex joints, fuel pump, brakes, and engine/tranny mounts all replaced within the last 100,000 kilometres on top of the regular maintenance. Just looking for advice to see if this would be a good buy as a daily driver?

What country are you in? The SBC pump had a 25 year extended warranty in the US but that wasn't in all countries, depended on the country. They used to go out when it was under 10 years old so just because it was replaced doesn't mean it won't go again. It used to be about 2k to replace the pump, but that was about 10 years ago when it only had a 10 year extended warranty before they extended it to 25. The rear suspension also had airmatic and those can be expensive to replace.

I’m located in Canada although the car was originally from the US. The owner is claiming the SBC pump has warranty still until 2029 although I’d like to check the paperwork on that first to confirm if it actually does. I know the motor/trans combo is one of the most reliable ever made. I’m more so worried about electrical gremlins at this mileage. Especially if it is going to be a daily driver
