Oh-Oh SRS Warning Light

Yesterday, I was out driving (for about an hour) and the red SRS warning light came on along with the message "Restraint System Malfunction..... (get thee to a stealer, blah blah)". Searching around I found several SRS issues related to automatic car washes? hmmm guess what!, I just had my car washed a couple of days ago. So, I guess I'm off to the stealer asap :-(

Unless anyone has a better idea?....

Could be anything...but BL pay the $100 and get the diagnostic - can't reset SRS anyway, dealer-only item. More likely a seat sensor or steering wheel sensor - known fail items.

HTH,

Well it turned out to be a harness issue and it was fixed free under warranty, cool eh! and I thought it had expired last year, turns out it was this year, so I had them fix an oil leak as well :-)
