Got squeaky folding mirrors?
I was annoyed by the folding mirrors squeaking when then folded or unfolded.
So I used some Dow Corning compound #4 (electrical insulating compound) that I normally use for conditioning rubber exterior bits on the car, and rubbed some between the rubber weatherstripping surrounding and the mirror shell. Wipe excess off paint and then cycle the mirrors open and closed a few times All the squeaks are gone!
