OK, who gets the "beeep" when using the brakes?
When I first got the car, I noticed a faint electrical "beeeep" when stepping on the brake pedal. Let off the pedal, and the beep is gone.
As long as I'm stepping on the brake pedal, I can hear the faint "beeeep".
When my brake lines were reprimed (squeaky pedal fix, plus air was found in the brake lines), my electronic beep had almost disappeared. AND, the brake pedal had a much more firm and controllable feel to it.
Then, the pedal got mushy and squeaky AGAIN. So, this time no air was found in the lines, but the hydraulic accumulator was replaced.
Now, pedal feel is somewhere in between firm and mushy with decent control. But, the electronic beep is back when stepping on the brake pedal.
How many of you guys hear this faint electronic "beeeep" when stepping on the brake pedal?
Turn off the radio... sometimes it's hard to hear.
Cheers!

Thanks for the replies...
I think I may still take the car in and talk with one of the techs about the beep.
It's probably the SBC system functioning or some computer-related part of the SBC.
I'll let you know if I find out anything interesting...
Cheers!
