18" Styling IV Rims

I really like these rims. I see that the fellow in Austraila is selling a set but I wonder what the shipping would be and how long it would take to get here. If I had to buy them here, new, where would I go to find them? How much would I expect to pay? The optional AMG wheels on the MBUSA site are nothing like these.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Try www.globemotorsports.com in Los Angeles. You can also try The Tire Rack. Both sell new AMG Styling IV wheels.

I think with the added shipping cost, the wheels will cost the same as you're getting a set of new ones in the US. If you want to do some shopping around, you are welcome to shoot me an e-mail.

I just looked at your post and price paid. Are these OEM wheels? What kind of tires did you get? How do the 18s ride compared to the 17s?

Yes, they're AMG OEM wheels!!! (i.e., right from Germany). The 18" ride pretty much the same as the 17" (the 18's call for a little more air pressure.... I'm carrying 34 psi front and rear). My primary concern was ride and noise. After much research and advise from folks on this site and Luke from The Tire Rack, I ended up buying the Pirelli PZero Rosso's (245/40-18 fr and 275/35-18 rear). They're a ultra high summer performance tire with key desing characteristics to reduce noise and provide a good ride.

Good Luck on your choice/decision.
