I need help guys with my OEM Xenon retrofit problems. I have a 2007 E550 with halogens and I just bought a set of used OEM facelift xenon headlights. This retro fit should have been plug and plag and then have the vehicle version coded for "xenon present" according to the research I've done on this forum but I've ran into some problems. I assumed these lights would turn on before you version code the car for xenon present with some flickering which I did but still nothing...I just wanted to check if the lights were good. So I assumed I had to get the car coded for xenon. So I installed the headlights and had the car version coded for "xenon present" and the lights still dont work. I assumed the bulbs were no good, so I purchased a set of brand new xenon bulbs and still nothing. However the city lights flash once every 7-8 seconds or so but they dont stay on constantly. Did I buy a set of broken headlights or am I doing something wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
