Will Nav from New S Class (widescreen) work in W211
Hi all -
This is my first post. I am about to complete a deal today to purchase a 03 E320, and I have been reading all the different threads regarding the NAV issues surround the the E320. My understanding at this point, is that Mercedes is saying that the DVD based NAV systems will not be retrofitable to the 03 E's. However, is is possible to retrofit the 03 S-Class's CD Based nav into the E class? They look to be the same size, by eyeing it, or are the components just not there to do this? Maybe this is a question for MBenzNL?

no it can't be fit
cos it is different size + the new e-class are useing the new system (MOST system) that navi for s-class is using (D2B system)
it is too big for w208 CLK but if u find the way to put this navi
it can be fit for CLK cos it using the same system (D2B)
