question for canadian owner...

if i buy a e320, do u know if benz let u buy the sport package for e500 instead of the e320 one?

the only difference are the bi-xenon headlight and airmatic suspension which e500 comes with already.

e500 sport package is $2500
e320 sport package is $6000

i really like the wheels and skirts of the sport package... don't really care about the bi-xenon or airmatic suspension. save yourself 3500 for something else.

you can always just buy skrits and rims from your dealer...i believe they have the amg package now...that would save you some money......but the airmatic suspension is really nice, each setting has its own enviroment.

Is there a reason you'd rather not have the Airmatic suspension and xenon lamps? If you've had a car with xenons, you'll never go back to plain-ole' halogens. I haven't driven a car with the Airmatic, but I'm sure it is improved over the standard setup. Helps resale in the end also. Vehicles that are better equipped will fetch a more $$$ upon resale.

well, i think i can only affort the e320 right now and it doesn't come with xenon or airmatic anyway. But i really like the sport package look. e500 sport package doesn't include xenon and airmatic and its only 2500...that's why i want to know if its possible to get it instead of the e320 one.

Also if its true that the e350 is coming out soon...i am gonna drive my c320 till then.

Cost of installing the AMG Aero Kit and Sport wheels/tires after the fact may be as much as paying of the Sports Package altogether.

By the way, where are you located in Canada? I saw a set of Sports wheels and tires for sale at MB Broadway in Vancouver just 2 days ago.

Check with your MB Part Department. They sometimes take trade-ins from MB owners that opt to change their OEM wheels/tires.

If you lease or finance your car, the additional cost of the sports package for your E320 shouldn't be too much to bear.
