Came across these while on eBay looking for smoked lenses and a few other items.

Has anyone here tried or seen these installed? There are a bunch of different vendors selling these; some are chrome housings, some are supplied with the H7 bulbs, others with LED DRL strips for your lower bumper, etc.

I'm know I could remove mine and have them painted for less but the LED DRL variant is intriguing. I would like to see how it looks on an actual w211.

dear god please do not put those on your car. I've seen one older w211 with those and it looks soooooo cheap and tacky. It's a benz not a honda man. You already have projectors, no sense trying to imitate audi with the LED drls in the headlamp housings. If anything get the w212 style LED fog mounted DRLs

True. I have no plan in putting them on but I noticed that the eBay sellers have sold some which means someone has bought them. Just curious how they look. The sellers also have non-LED versions which would just be a swap that I could do instead of painting my housings, that's where my interests are.

Not a fan of the w212 DRLs on the w211, but that's me.

I liked the look of the dual fogs found on the 2010s before the LED DRLs. Not sure how it would look on the w211 though.

Theres another model of these, i think made by the same company that looks simular, however instead of the DRL strip up the side, they have a small CCFL ring around the projector housing, so basically when the projectors aren't on you have two eyes on the front.

If i can find the eBay link ill post it here, you can get it in black smoked or standard silver.

Would like to see pics of them on the car though.

Pictures are what I was hoping to see on the ones I posted. I would just like to know what they look like but I am certainly not interested enough to be the guinea pig . From the lack of response i'm guessing the ones that were sold were not to people of MBworld.

I'll most likely have my housings painted but wanted to see if there were other options.

Not the same exact headlamps, but I think they are very clean for a a pair aftermarket headlamps!!!

Thats a nice looking e55, the silver/chrome does looks better on the car then it does in the eBay ad.

This model here is the one I was talking about, it doesn't have the lame looking DRL's however it has an angel eye ring around the project.
