Backing off Parking Brake

Backing off Parking Brake
Been searching to no avail.....I'm replacing my rear rotors and pads in my 04 e320...Rotors are loose but won't come off. I think that I need to back off the parking brake and was wondering if anyone could help me out??? Thanks in advance

Yes, there is a parking brake adjuster...
Whether that's why your disk won't come, I don't know, but yes there is an adjuster. I just looked for it on EPC. It is a fairly conventional-looking knurled nut that you get on a drum brake system for adjusting by levering / pushing with a screwdriver through a slot from behind.
How you access it in this case, I am not too sure. Is there a hole on the backing plate that you can fit a screwdriver through and feel around?
By the way, if the parking brake shoes (not the disk pads) are gripping enough to hold the disk on, even with the parking brake off, I would anticipate you would have smelt it before you started your brake job.
