Mine work when I unlock the car and its dark - the car has a sensor to determine if its dark enough to light them up. Maybe you have been trying in the sunshine. Just worked last night when I unlocked my car in the garage.

Before you do that!

Check your settings in your instrument panel - there is a submenu under settings called lighting. You should make sure that the setting for 'surround lighting' and 'exterior lighting' is switched on!

If not, your surround lighting will not activate even if it is dark outside.

Another Guess

Just guessing here, but I initially thought the delayed headlamp shutoff was broken in my car, but then it turns out that the delay feature only works in the headlamp switch is turned to "auto" (even though enabled on the computer/instrument panel). Might try that and see if that works.

kengi: Also, be sure the interior door switch light is activated so the front overhead lights come on when you open the door. (middle switch of three forward switches on overhead panel) If that switch is not set, the mirror lights don't operate when you unlock the car
