Wagon Owners -- Am I Missing a Part?
I was cleaning the footrest area for the rear-facing third row of seats, and I noticed that there is no floor mat there. I seem to recall that the car came with a black rectangular carpet mat for that area (with a Mercedes logo). If you look at the photo, there's no mat there. The mat I'm thinking of would have covered the flush handle. Could someone with a wagon check theirs and let me know?
I called my dealer's parts department and they said there's never been a floor mat in that area on W211's, but I have this recollection of one there.
Thanks.

Mine has the floor mat. 2007 Wagon E350 4Matic. It is the same facing as the regular front and second row passenger mats with the grey spongy backing.

The mat that you have for the third row, is it black or same color as the interior?

Strange. One dealer said there is no mat (but he didn't look it up). Another said he couldn't find a mat for that area, and also called MBNA and they also found no mat. A third dealer couldn't find it in his parts list but said he would get back to me (still waiting).

One of the MB online dealers I called found a part number for a "5th Floormat" which he said fits my car based on my VIN. I ordered it (under $20 + shipping). Let's see what shows up.

Our timing is a little off, but I had one for sale a little while ago. It’s now sold, but if you got yours for $20 - that’s a good deal.
Here is my post for sale which has the correct part numbers:

I'm still wondering whether my car ever came with this. Most likely, it did not and I suddenly remembered having seen it on other cars (perhaps prior model year W211's) that we saw before we ordered ours. Anyway, for under $20 it is well worth having because if anyone sits in the third row, you can easily remove the floor mat and shake it out vs. dragging out the vacuum cleaner to clean the footwell area.

Okay, so it arrived today and it is the correct part for the third row footwell. The part no. is Q6680638. I paid a discount online price of $17.25 + shipping (list price is around $23).
