Touch up paint?
So I've got some scratches on my rear bumper that I need touch up paint for .. I guess someone pulled forward into my car while parked .. or the valet somewhere did it.
Anyway, I keep finding oddball part numbers for the touch up paint .. so far I've seen a single 040 Black Paint from MB .. a dual 040 Black from MB .. and a "paint pen" from MB. Not sure what I need, but I suspect it's the dual bottles? My detailer is going to do it so I think the dual bottles is the way to go?

Will supply the correct colour for your car.

Yeah, I know I have 040 Black. Just wanted to buy the touch up paint at parts.com or somewhere cheaper than my local dealer, but I guess I'll head over there and just pay for it.

Try Dr. Color
Touch up paint is very difficult to apply right. 99% of the time, the application is clearly visible and rather unsightly. I recently tried Dr. Color that you see on TV with good success. The result is a lot better than any touch ups I have used. You can order it online.

I have also used paint from "Automotive Touchup" for larger areas. Link:

My detailer plans to do this .. he just needs me to get the paint/kit and he'll handle the rest. His work is so good I doubt I'll see anything at all.
Thanks for all the recommendations!

[QUOTE=Mike_W;5114252]I, too, have used Dr. Colorchip with good success, but it will not cover large areas - it is mainly intended for chips. Link:
