Help with single tip exhaust tips... (did search)

Hello all...

I am trying to find the best set of single tips I can put on my 2007 E350 that will not require me to cut the bumper in any way...

I did a search but turned up so much contradictory info that I felt a new post would better help me.

So, what is the best set of tips and where is the best place to get them?

Thanks...

So, if I understand correctly you have a W211 without sport package that you now want visible exhaust tips on?

I'll have to check because I know a friend of mine did something similar, but honestly your best bet is to get a spec bumper and then obtain the regular tips from there - *likely* higher availability and thus lower cost. Sorry =\

Sounds like a good plan... I am relatively new to Merc's.

Could you point me to where I can get the spec bumper or is it a stealer part only?

Thanks!

Yeah it will make the car look a bit weird if you DON'T modify the exhaust as it is a generally low car. As far as the spec bumpers... hmm never gone down that route. I find most parts on AutoPartsWarehouse to be somewhat reputable but I have a limited history with them so beware, also places like eBay are s**t for Mercedes parts. I would recommend just getting a stealer part, their parts values are very very reasonable where I am actually, it is just labor that costs quite a bit so if you find a good body shop take the dealer part there.

OEM 07 e350 sports package bumper part # 2118803740 (to comparison shop new http://www.bmwmercedesparts.com/part...?siteid=215771 $427), left end piece 2114920214 (123.22), right 2114920314 (123.22).
