SBC system warranty
Hello folks,
My car "Check Break Alarm" is on despite changing all my break pads and sensors. Diagnostic check at the local MB agent workshop indicated a SBC system problem. Awaiting some equipment from MB for the agent to reprogramme the system (cost about RM600.00). I am told that a pump problem will set me down by RM10,000.00. My car is now 6 years old. I am told that Mercedes gives a 10 year warranty in US on these parts due to their known unreliability. Does anybody had similar experience? Did Mercedes replace the parts for free as part of the warranty? Please help so that i can show this to Mercedes in Malaysia. Best Regards
