w211 2005 windshield washer reservoir leak

Hi
I have a 2005 E320 Wagon 4matic and I keep adding fluid in the windshield washer reservoir. The liquid is dripping passenger side. I looked under and can't see anything. Anyone knows how to access the reservoir and what could be the problem?

Thanks!

Marc

remove the inner fender lining on the passenger side, that should give you access. It is probably the point where the neck meets the bottle, which I suspect mine's doing too.

hey thanks! I read somewhere that the grommet used on the reservoir in the newer mb don't last long like 5 to 6 years I bet that is what the problem is. Do I need to remove the wheel you think?
Thanks!

could be that also, where the pump is. I don't think you need to take teh wheel off but it would be much easier. Just have to get creative with turning it back and forth to get access to the pushpins.

Hi
I did looked under the fender liner and it seems like the leak is coming out of the bottom section of the pump. Any idea where I can buy parts and do I need to buy the whole pump or just grommets? Thanks!

Thanks that's great! I just got a "new" Meyle pump from Ebay @ $15 but couldn't find the grommets. I figured I'll replace both items while I'm in there. At $3 I will stop by the dealer to get the grommet. Thanks again!

2006 E320 CDI
My 2006 E320 CDI washer fluid is suddenly slowly leaking. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what the known leak points are? The pump was working fine, the drip spots appear under the right front fender. Thanks for any advice.

John
