Transmission reset cured the dreaded rough 2-1 downshift?
The rough 2-1 downshift didn't happened all the time... usually while creeping (as in driving slowly... not acting in a lecherous, stalking way
) in a parking lot... so I'm curious if I've cured it or if I just haven't encountered the speed/deceleration that triggers the rough downshift yet?Anyone else with this experience?
We've owned executive-class MB's since 73, and I have to say none of them have been brilliant with 2-1 downshifts, so maybe this is a Benz weakness to start off with.

1st gear is so low, that the car waits until you are almost at a stop before it allows the trans to drop into 1st, and still the engine is revving higher than 1st is expecting.
