7G tranny?
OK i want to know everything that there is to know about this tranny.
1. How much does it cost?
2. When is it avail. and is it gonna be standard or and option on the 04 E500?
3. How does it work?
just tell me everything and anything you guys might know about this tranny. I mean tell me even basic stuff like if its 7 gears foward and 2 back. stuff like that. ANYTHING YOU KNOW.
cuz apparently my dealer doesnt know shnit about this. thank you in advance for all your comments.

My understanding is as follows:
1. Cost will be included in the base price of the car. Or standard equipment.
2.Should be availble by mid-year production.
3. Just a basic 7-speed auto. Seven forward gears and reverse.
Your dealer does't "know" about it because those 5-speed no nav E-500's on the lot get harder to sell with each passing day.

The 7G gearbox will mate to these new motors, the current 5G box maxes out at 500HP.
