Flat Hood Badge
Trying to get info on installing flat hood ornament on 2003 E500. I noticed STKLAW has one and I ilike the look. Does it have to be dealer installed? I looked at the one on the car now and it doesn't look easy to take off.

It is very easy to remove
All you need to do is twist the flange nut underneath and the whole assembly will come right out.
Just make sure you've taken hold of the star before you do.

Bruce, I am not sure as the photo was just sent to me by Chris Siegle to illustrate the AMG flat hood badge he is selling. Here is another photo. It looks like a CLK to me.

Is there a flat hood emblem where it's just black and has the amg decal on it? Not like the one pictured earlier but just a plain black one with AMG decal on it?
