Warranty Options

Have an E550, I called MB thinking I still had a little bit of time to extend my warranty.

They told me that it expired Sunday (yeah, a few days ago) and since it has lapsed, they will not be able to extend it for me.

I'm kinda surprised there is absolutely no grace period on this AT ALL. Nor did they ever send me any kind of information about an extension.

So what are my options? What warranties do you guys recommend I look at?

The car runs great, obviously, it was just under warranty Sunday, but as all 550 owners, I fear the day an airmatic shock dies on me.

Spend the money you'd spend on an extended warranty and have the airmatic system swapped out for coilovers. You'll have piece of mind after having it done.
