Question Engine Died While Driving !

Am owning E-240 Model 2004

2 times for the last 2 weeks my car engine died while driving on the road at a low speed (one time on the parking & the second time while doing a U-Turn at signal)

All lights on dash board light up & the steering got locked-up (The car wasn't choking or anything when the vehicle stopped) , anyway I faced no problem or delay on starting the car again & moving on.

I drove the car more than 500 miles after that within 3 days with no problems at all.

What can cause such a problem?
My RPM needle stands on 800 while standing , is it normal or shall I raise it up ?

For the notes only – 3 weeks ago I had replaced one injector , air filter , oil filer & Engine Oil as I had experienced a problem in that time that I began smelling gas while driving which caused from a leaking injector.

Perhaps something to consider (if it dies when the engine is at operating temp) would be the crankshaft position sensor?

What i read that you will have a difficalty to start the engine again inscase you are having a problem or a default in the crankshaft position sensor which i didnt face it.

Is there any other causes for such an issue ?

It happened to one of my cars before and all they did was reload the program for the ECU. My car was stalling and the engine would cut out while accelerating on the on ramp to the freeway. Car started right up but it happened twice to me as well. But then again I didn't change any fuel injectors in my car. The dealer said for some reason the ECU was out of sync so they had to reload the program to the ECU never had a problem after that.
