Good job on the car Camaro, looks great with the new wheels and lowering - as said before it really does look like a completely different car and much sportier. Glad you stuck with it and put the extra time and money into getting it to look correct, certainly paid off.

I don't give up that easily.

It's funny because I wasn't even looking at E classes when I came on this car. It was a great deal and a one owner car that had every single receipt from the original purchase to every oil change, emissions test, repair work, etc... Knowing the car had a clean background meant a lot to me so I gave the dealer an offer.
In that case, I completely agree and would have done the same.

You might as well go that extra step. Those wheels are nice, no doubt....but a nicer set of wheels turns the E into another level car.
Just think about it and re-visit the E modification thread.

Agreed on the wheels, I know I'll get a nicer set later on. I bought these off a member on this forum for $400, I just couldn't pass them up for that price.

I'm picking up an E55 front bumper with a carbon fiber lip from Eurocharged next Saturday. I was going to go with the E63 front bumper but he's selling the bumper with the carbon fiber from lip for $250 and like the wheels I couldn't pass that up.

I bought the car two months ago today and so far have done the following: Coilovers, E63 wheels, tinted all the wheels, 6000k headlights and foglights, LED parking lights, custom floor mats from MyMercedes, painted the calipers red, and by next week will have the E55 AMG front bumper with the carbon fiber lip attached.

I don't know how fast other guys move when they start modifying their cars but I think I'm doing pretty good right now.

Here's a picture with both the front and rear lowered. It was storming out all day so the car is dirty but I will take good pictures when we get a nice day.

And in case you're keeping track here's what the car looked like six weeks ago.

A little firmer than stock but the overall ride quality is still excellent. I would have no problem driving the car to work every day on uneven roads.

Hello My friend, i know it is old post , but while reading your thread i was wondering oooh finally i found a guy who has the same problem, high gab, couldn't find the answer , looked everywhere online and asking local mechanics ,
the only difference is i dont have any receipt from the old owner and really the front suspension is so high like your car and make the car look ugly, my question is:
1-have you notice any difference when the gab was high because i had alignment issue and fix it but after few days it return back and i assume the problem is the high gab
2-Is there is any way that i can compress the spring

or i have to replace it
thanks
