I lost the piece to my rear bumper, the small square shaped rear on the bottom right back bumper.

Does anyone know the part number? It's maybe a rear jack point?

I bought this one from ebay:

And it does NOT fit. Are the 2003-2006 and 2007-2009 different pieces?

This is the cover that fits over the tow eye, which you screw in to pull the car onto a flatbed. The bumpers are different on "face lifted" W211's, which I think came with the 2007 model year, so maybe MB changed these covers as well (why, I don't know). You can just get this (pre-painted) from the dealer for around $30.

Not all colors are available stock pre-painted. Only the most popular few. The rest come in Black and must go to the Body Shop for paint..

 

Well, I don't think so, because I had both 2003-2006 and 2007-2009 and they are just fine.. one replaced the other...
