Question Passenger headlights not working after facelift

I have a 2003 E500. I bought the new headlights (2007 - 09) to have a face lift. I changed the drivers side first, tap the wires to go to the new connector using a good step by step guide i found on this forum. I switched on the lights, high and low beam, signal and they worked fine.

I did the same with the passenger side and when it was done, no lights came on. It wasn't working. To be sure if my new headlights is not faulty, i replaced it with the old original headlight and that did not work too. This was working before i swapped it. Well, a bit relieved that my new headlight is not faulty.

So, the question is, did i blew the fuse? Where is the fuse located? Why is the driver side headlight working and passenger side is not? What can be the problem? I didn't rip any wire.

Is that the fuse box located just directly in front of driver under the hood? If facing the car with hood open, its going to at the far right.

Usually you change the SAM and the wiring with the facelift.

I can't find this SAP control module. I've checked the passenger side. Exactly where is it located?

I'm sorry for asking this again. My car is a E500 2003, W211.

I took out the footmat, take off the carpet below that and I i found was some big hard yellow foam, and metals.

Hi there, I'm having the same problem with my w211 e240... It seems as if there's no power going to my entire left hand side head lights and fogs.. How did you solve your issue?

~ to clarify, I’ve replaced the headlights on a 2004 e500 4matic. I have no voltage at the light, the frt SAM unit fuse f66 is intact and I’ve opened the passenger footwell compartment to reach the SAM unit.

You are referring to right headlamp correct? Passenger SAM controls right headlamp via internal semiconductors. Since you will need MB diagnostics to transfer data if SAM needs replacement anyway, have someone pull fault codes using MB diagnostics.
