If you're going to install/replace this yourself you may need 2 clips that hold the trim to the dash. I believe they are breakaway clips.

I have the instructions, if you need them I can post them.

Oh, I just noticed part #30 (my eyes aren't as good as they used to be), but isn't it possibble to buy just the little chrome plated clip on the front of the door?

I don't think you can buy just the clip but you should be able to buy the front panel (#30). If that's all you're replacing then you don't need to take the trim out. There should be a release underneath the panel if I remember correctly.

I attached the instructions but you don't need then if you're just replacing the front panel.

Thanks eatcake, this helps but I wish I could just buy the clip... the chrome plating has completely come off...

Chrome spray paint will do the trick.

I also ordered part #30 according to the diagram from parts.com. It arrived today and took a small edge of scissors to remove the existing front facing. Go slow and be careful and then the clips will pop-out without damage to the drawer or clip receptors. I asked about just purchasing the chrome trim clip, but was told I had to order the drawer facing. Trouble free install.
