2008 e350 bluetooth

An 08 with P1 option, can you activate Bluetooth by simply installing the Bluetooth puck or is more required?

On my 2008 E550 (w P1), that was all that was needed.

Just came from dealer. My car is not prewired for phone and MB doesn't sell parts to wire it.

Am I out of luck and looking at Parrot?
