dilemma

I had an 07 GLI and yes it was a really nice car for the money but it was always in the shop. The first generation of the 2.0t has serious issues with carbon buildup on the valves. Ask me how I know this? That car blew the engine at 12k miles due to valves that were stuck open. My advice is buy new and familiarize yourself with the lemon law and your local tow truck company.

06 e350 4matic/2000 e320 4matic wagon
Yea, i feel the same way sometimes...when i'm commuting to and from work
every day with my sturdy and safe 2000 e320 4matic...i want something a little more sporty to zip around in...preferably a manual.
So.I told my wife, what do you think about trading in the wagon for a focus st
turbo. She looked at me and guess what she said " wake up and smell the coffee".You know what,i think she's right.

2006 E500
Face facts, the E320 is a lovely car but it is boring to drive. Great on a journey but a snoozer as a daily driver. Get the Golf GTI and put some enjoyment back into driving.

E550 is very exhilarating to drive IMO... 382-hp, 391lb-ft of torque, a 0-60 time of around 5 seconds. I can't speak for you and don't know how much you're willing to spent buy splurging for an E550 would not only allow you to keep the beautiful and sturdy W211 appeal but give you huge amounts of power to play with. Just make sure it's a facelift E550 not an E500.
