Filters-combo vs. dust ??

I'm now right at 31K miles w/my '09 E350 4Matic and intend to change the filters myself. But what's the difference between the "Combination" filter and the "Dust" filter? Are both accessible through the engine compartment/passenger side-near cowling?

Thx in advance.

The combination filter many also call the cabin filter which is different from the engine air filters. I was confused on them my self. The cabin filter I believe is replaced 10-20k miles and the post above details that. The other air filters is the pair for the engine, and they last 25-50K depending on driving and search the forums for replacement steps for them, thought they are super easy to replace
