FOR SALE 2008 E550 WITH ONLY 42K ONLY ASKING $17,500
Beautiful car inside and out runs like brand new with only 42K miles. Push to start Navigation System two sets of keys heated/cooled seats panoramic sunroof, air ride suspension, cd changer, black on black. Car is fully loaded and looks like a million bucks. It has a rebuild title, it was in a light accident but has been repaired and inspected and ready for a new owner. The driver air bag has been deployed aig bag light is on. Well in that case go to a MB dealership and buy a brand new one, news flash this is a used car .... to reset the airbag light cost $50 if your serious about buying the car send deposit and will get it done for you.

Looks like a million bucks minus the $50 for resetting the airbag light. Just kidding. But seriously, I would get that airbag light taken care of before selling. Looks really nice otherwise.

Last week here at a local dealership of new cars a person bought a used car with air bag light then the next day the car died and would not run. Sorry said the dealer you bought it with no warranty. Even though they told the new owner it was an easy air bag fix.
I drove a Lincoln for 8 yrs with air bag light on after spending over $1000 trying to solve the problem
NEVER BUY A CAR WITH CHECK ENGINE OR OTHER WARNING LIGHT unless you can just throw $$$$ to repair it later.
But what do I know anyway.??

It happens with brand new cars also nothing is perfect, if you want me to fix it I will do so dont pay until its done does that sound fair?
Correct it IS a statement. So what if $50 will fix it. If that is the case do it. If you buy with basically a safety warning light you may be stuck for much more in hidden damage.

Any car with a rebuild or salvage title...is almost imposible to resell down the road.Once the interested party sees that word.salvage or rebuild on the title ...they want nothing to do with it, i know this from past experience.

Having the SRS light is definitely something to walk away from, especially after a crash, who knows what shallow repairs might have been done, if resetting the light doesn't fix anything then the problem will be much more important, the car would simply be too unsafe to drive.
The car needs to be in IMMACULATE condition if you want to sell it with a Rebuilt/Salvage title

Everybody got there own opinion, if u guys want to pay top dollar and get a pipe where the sun dont shine go ahead. Owning 2008 E550 under 20K is a steal even if it needs some TLC but for all the suckers on here lmfao! Next time when you guys buy a car and after you shake the guys hand I want you guys to ask the guy to use lubrication before you bend over
