When I switch between Comfort, Sport I, and Sport II suspension modes on my 2003 E500, there is no confirmation message on the cluster. I vaguely remember that the cluster used to display "Airmatic DC 1" or "Airmatic DC 2" messages, but does not now. I recently watched an old Motorweek video of the 2003 E500 that showed "Airmatic DC 1" displayed on the center cluster. I currently have the center cluster configured to display MPH and outside temp. Is this a configuration issue? Do you guys get Airmatic mode-change messages on your center cluster?

Are you sure you have seen those messages on your cluster? First W211 cars did not have those indications at all. The change was somewhere during 2003 production.
