Reverse Camera
Hi all
I am about to install a reverse camera on my 2007 w211.
I plan on plugging it into the aux 1 on my tv tuner so I can turn it on when needed.
But my question is, does anyone know how to make the command switch to this av1 automatically when put in reverse? Then when put back into drive or park go back to what ever was previously on the screen?
I have star diag, so even if anyone has any instructions on how to do it in star that would be great. Or any other solutions?
I don't want to have to shuffle to the video button then Aux all the time.
Thanks!
Ps anyone in Sydney Australia needing star pm me if I can help with other issues.

Well,
I did the install. I just plugged it into the AV1 port in the TV Tuner, so to access the reverse camera, i press VIDEO, then AV1
I am still looking for a solution, to tell the Command to automatically switch to AV1 when put in reverse, but for now this will suffice.
The advantage of this i guess, is i can switch to the Rear camera, when ever i want, and since i have VIM activated, it can stay on the screen.
I dont know what the advantage of being able to watch the rear is, but it looks cool i guess.
