If your E320 was equipped with OEM HID headlights, then a replacement HID bulb is the easiest and safest way to go.

If it's not equipped with OEM HIDs, then a plug-and-play kit would suffice - notwithstanding the other forum voices regarding light splatter pattern. Should you choose to upgrade with a HID kit then theretrofitsource.com H7 Morimoto Elite system is a good plug-and-play option.

Of course, a complete retrofit would be the best, but is not cost effective for some. Either way, you'll find good options and information about HIDs at the Web site.

You should have a marking HID-D2S either Phillips or Osram near the base of the bulb or housing plus you'll have a ballast control or headlight control unit if you have OEM HIDs. An HID bulb (OEM or aftermarket looks vastly different from a traditional halogen), it won't look anything like your highbeam bulb.
