Problem with A/C 220CDI 2004
Hi!
I was wondering if someone had the same problem! When I try to turn on the A/C, it only blinks a few times and stays off. when this happens, it have helped earlier to delete errorcodes and service the A/C system, but now it still won`t work, and I get codes for low preassure. Mercedes tells me I have to change compressor, but I don`t think they are sure that that`s the problem! and it costs 6000 NOK, so I wanted to hear with you people, if you had any tips for me?

Thanks for the reply! What if it won't start at all, even when deleting the errors? Is it possible that it can be an electrical error? And if so, is it any way to check that the signal from the switch reach the conpressor at all?

thanks for trying it`s actually the pre-heater for the water wich are the main problem in all of this, we have degrees from 0 C to -25 Celcius, so it takes a loong time untill the temperature is high enough to actually heat up the cupè :S But we were told that the pre-heater is on when the a/c is on, and that there was no other way to control it?
