'03 E320 CD Changer

'03 E320 CD Changer
Hi all,
It's a strange world... due to a woman driving a 128 BMW across my path last Thursday, who I then t-boned, my beloved 2000 E320 ended up getting totalled (not my fault thank dog, but that airbag is fracking loud!). Anyhow, I've ended up getting a very good deal on a very nice '03 E320, which has the HK sound system and can accept a CD changer.
My car has heated seats, and as such the wood panel on the front of the changer is different than the ones I've seen for sale on eBay and other sites. My question is, if a find a changer that fits my car, can I change that panel on the changer?

Never mind! I just got the car and it has the changer in it! The dealer was apparently not aware (or perhaps thought it was a trunk mounted unit). If anybody knows the answer to my question however, I'm sure other folks might be interested.
