I have an 08 E550 RWD with 61k miles. It's been perfect since day one and today for the second time while driving on the highway the car goes into a massive vibration mode like I was driving on rumble strips. The rearview mirror was a blur from the vibration. I put it in neutral and no change, the motor was smooth but the car vibrated like hell. Anyone heard of this or experienced the same issue? After I pulled over and shut down the motor it was fine at restart. Very strange! My fear is since this is intermittent my Indy mechanic may not be able to replicate the problem. Any help is appreciated!

problem solved: bad ebrake issue that was causing the problem. Evidently the LR brake pad was sticking and also caused scoring of the hub on that side. I'm getting it repaired today and hopefully will eliminate the problem.
