What is this part?? PIC INCLUDED
I've had my car 6 yrs. and for the first time I noticed this little part ticking away like a time bomb when the car is warming up. It does stop and then start up again. What is it and what does it do, and is that normal? Its located at the engine front right corner.

Thats the purge valve. The ticking is normal.
