torn!!!
I want a e500 or 4matic, but I dont want to wait. lease is up in march of 2003 for my 740sport (previously in a lexus gs430)
do i get
m3 smg, 2 door with kids is no good, but great speed etc.
c32, 4 doors but small, and less than lexus command nav system
a6 4.2. awd, but soon to be resigned
e500, new car pricing, rwd only for first year
leaning towards m3
any opinions welcome.

well this is from a guy who is obviously biased...
but i would recommend the E500 or if you would be willing to take a small loss on an E500, get that then order the E55 AMG, trust me. ... this is gonna whoop any M5's ***.
How is this for aggressive styling?

M3.....is great, not a car I would get if I had to put kids in the back seat on a regular basis.
C32.....nice as well, but don't see its point unless you're getting it purely for performance (you will be able to get an E500 for the same money)- has a V8, bigger, personally think it looks better.
A6 4.2....happen to a be a big fan of the A6 4.2, I even like my brother's A6 2.7T- but the V8 is for me, along with the flared fenders, nicer wheels. If you shop around, you can get a killer deal on an A6 4.2 (better than any of the cars mentioned).

hows your 740? Hey why don't you go for a s-class? or a LS430 or a new 7 series?
But out of those cars the m3 sounds nice, but if you have kids go for the e-class. If you don;t want to wait go for the A6 a very nice car indeed
