active lights inoperative.
For a while i'm being getting this message active lights inoperative, but the lights works OK, they go up and down and turn when i'm driving. It doesn't do it all the time. Both batteries are new, but this didn't change anything.
I going to take the car to service,but before I do that i would like to have some ideas.

When you changed the main battery, you have to reset several things, windows, sunroof, etc. One of those items is the active headlights. Turning the steering wheel lock to lock does it.

Can car be moving (hope so to avoid griding flat spot on tires)?
My Datacard shows:
615 BI-XENON HEADLIGHT W.ACTIVE CURVELIGHT RIGHT-DRIVE
But I've never seen mine move left or right, only up and down.
And I have never seen any error messages as noted by the OP.
(I'm wondering if one or both of my active headlights were replaced with non-active lights after her 2007 accident.)

Ok, I tried the lock to lock steering and didn't work!
I did it with the engine running and the lights on.
And Yes, I can see the headligts turning a little when I go over 30 mph

If it is intermitent it could also be one of the motors inside the lamp has a bad wire.
Dealer fix is new headlight ***. but you can open them up and rewire for $5; catch is you if you don't know exactly whats wrong you will need to rewire the hole 4 motors.
You can pay for a diagnosis and that will tell you exactly what motor on what side it is.

I tried going slow, going forward and in reverse doing lock to lock but it didn't work.
Now the inoperative headlights comes on every time I start the car, but the headlights do go up and down and turn when I'm driving.
