04 Mercedes E500 Options?
I was playing with the dash reset button today, and found i could change a few things I did not know I had. Now I have daytime running lights, I prefer that, as well as leaving the cabin lights on for a specific amount of time after engine off. But their were a lot of areas that would not let me turn on. do I need the indy shop to do this for me.
here is what i want on..
-i was told I can have my car alarm make sound, right now it does not make a sound, i am only able to lock/unlock and pop trunk open, but no sound when disableing or ableing the alarm.
-also i can seem to activate the summer/winter window roll up/down feature. is their something wrong here?
and what is this rear mirror backup safety feature , when i am in the programing area on the dash?

I don't have the answers to your specific questions but it appears you don't have a copy of your vehicle's owner's manual. It contains lots of detailed information to questions like your questions. You might check eBay to see if you can find one for sale there.......I bought an owner's manual like new on eBay a year ago for my 2001 Volvo V70.

you're are right, I don't have the manual. but i did what you said, and checked out ebay. i see a few , but want to make sure.
it saids for other e series as well including e500, is this correct?
