Exclamation And I'm back..

I did order 211 410 02 15 and 211 410 04 15
and got 0004110100 and 211 410 04 15, after a long phone call I have been assured 0004110100=2114100215
Problem is there is no vibration dampener in the kit only flex, bolts and nuts. The parts guy had no idea what I was talking about with the vibration damper and simply offered me the whole driveshaft for $800.

So I'm back at the dilemma of leaving it, removing it or buy a new driveshaft

Don't do anything yet.

We are also checking a couple of the local MB service dept's. All the parts guys see the part and advised included with the kit, however none have the kits in stock to confirm if in fact included.

The other very interesting fact is that when you go WIS, install section for your propeller shaft the part is not mentioned, just the flex disc. Very starnge!!

Have you owned the car new??

Unfortunately no, but I don't think the driveshaft was changed previous owner service documents where all oil services, v belt, filters and the like; no warranty claims, accidents or major repairs.
It is strange indeed, it seems I am the first w211 guy with this issue.
Do you think that 0004110100=!2114100215 and that is why I am missing the part?

I look in EPC but it does not show part# for it.

Any thoughts?
I look in EPC and it show damper for you VIN but under my VIN EPC does not show a damper, same for E 55 AMG. I am not sure if they install it on some models and did not on others.

I was told today at the dealership that the damper is a part of the propeller shaft.

Isstay thank you very much for the help.
Knowing this I think I'll take the cheap-safe route and just remove it when I replace the flex. Worst case I'll have to buy a new drive shaft if vibrations come up.
Thanks again! I'll post back with the results in a couple of days.

You may have issues w/length of the shaft, I mean not reaching to the flex disk.
