Command Screen is blank after "Engineering mode"

So this morning I turn on my car and the command screen flashes a "triangular exclamation mark" and then the screen goes blank... The day before I replaced the iPod interface cable (pretty simple) and also entered "Engineering mode" by pressing 3-5-7... Change it so that the screen would boot up and display "AMG". I really need some suggestions and solutions.

P.S: It's a 2008 E350 Sport 4MATIC

Just a guess...it's to do with the iPod interface. Are you sure it's the correct part number to install?

Yea Boardboy330... When I replaced the cable everything worked perfectly... It this morning... Not so perfect. It's stuck in SAT radio being that's where I left off when I turned off the car for the night... I can switch through stations from the steering wheel only now.

Have you attempted to get back into it and see if maybe it was stuck in ENG mode. Maybe you can switch it back. Again - just guessing as I have not dealt with this before.

I definitely tried to get back into ENG Mode by repeating the 3-5-7 method.... Still nothing. I can tell the screen is on b/c everytime I go under an overpass I can see the black screen lit.

Sorry dreadinny.... I took it to a friend that work for mb of Manhattan and he tried running Star Diag. Nothing worked. I ended up shelling out $1000 for a refurbished one at MB of White Plains.

Wow, that turned out to be one expensive iPod connection.

You just never now with these cars. I disconnected my main battery for about an hour and when I reconnected it, I lost all my keyless go functions.
