Auto-Dimming Mirror Problem

My interior rear view mirror doesn't seem to have much dimming effect on the bright headlights behind me. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
The exterior driver side mirror is working OK.

Regretably a simple problem, but you need DAS Xentry to learn wether the issue is with the mirror forward looking sensor, backward looking sensor or the overheard control panel which adjust the mirror voltage, based on the input from the sensors to create the dimming process.

I created the same issue with installation of 15% tint. Tint does an OK job of cutting glare though - but I recognized the mirror stopped dimming.

The outside dimming issues are different than the inside rear view mirror issues---do a search and you will learn something about your car!!
