Help! arnotts airmatics won't go in
Guys received my front airmatics from Arnotts, they were easy to take out, but they just wont go in, not enough clearance. Is their anything I should do to make them go in, besides going to the dealer to have them shortened ?
Thank you
Thank you

I believe you can hook up the strut to the electrical connector (while holding the strut in your hands ) and it will compress once the ignition is turned on.
Then go ahead and unplug the connector and you should be good to go with the install.
Let me know how it goes.

thanks for your response. I actually did this and nothing happens. I layed the strut on top of a rag so not to damage anything in the engine compartment, than I connected the electrical connector and connected the negative battery terminal back and than i turn ignition to number 2 and all i hears is clicks and sounds, Nothing happens, I even took the jack and raised the front end up higher, so to fool the computer. Nothing.

Do both sides at same time. Disconnect the upper ball joint on both sides at same. disconnect the sway bar at each endso the lower control arm can be pushed lower. Then pull down on lower control arm using a long bar, this will give the clearance, and it should be easy from there.

Hello My good friend, I did exactly this procedure last night, and it work flawlessly like a charm, Thank you for taking the time out to help a old fart. Now it's time to tackle the rear shocks and airbags from Arnotts
