E320 CDI
Smile Question on upgrading to xenon adaptive headlamps

Hi, I'm sorry if this has been covered before, but I have a question on upgrading my 2005 E320 CDI to xenon headlights.

I know there are a number of threads on upgrading to aftermarket versions, but it seemed like a number of responses had recommended upgrading to the OEM bi-xenon headlamps instead.

From what I understand, these OEM xenon headlamps are adaptive, but I am unsure what is needed to take advantage of that feature. Are there additional parts needed, in addition to the adaptive headlamps to be able to use them?

Thanks in advance,

Harry

If I were to looking for current information on OEM xenon headlamps, I woud go to a dealer and start asking questions about the product, upgrades and install issues!!

Do a search... lots of threads on this.
From what I recall there's lots of additional wiring required and under-seat sensors (for the leveling function) need to be installed. Very expensive and not worth it, is the conclusion I see most.
