E320 buybacks for sale...?

I've heard rumors about the E320 Nav buybacks for sale around the country for a very good price.

Does anybody know where one could obtain them? Seems like they would be a steal....

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
They're not calling them....

buybacks. If they did, they'd be required to disclose that to the new owner, and would probably identify it as a problem car. Tha'ts the nature of the certifcate, similar to what BMW is doing on problem 7's. They're not called buybacks, they're getting "trade assistance". And yes, you'll find them at your MB dealer, who ain't real happy about taking a bunch of them in. That being said, you would want to check each one out to make sure it's not indeed a problem car.
BTW, i have one of those cars for sale, but it's a 500, not a 320. Tons of options, about a 65 list, with only 7k miles. My ask is $54k. I think these are excellent values, as long as they are not problematic. Hope this helps.

Thanks allenjdmb!

Supposedly there's a dealer in the DC area with a lot of "trade assistance" vehicles. Anybody know which one? I'm looking for an E320 (anywhere actually, if you have a good deal).

PM me if you know of a place. Thanks all!

Buybacks

I had so many issues with my 99ML is was at the brink of filing 'lemon' law. After discussing with the salesman and his manager they gave me a fair trade on a new 320 Wagon, fair trades and dealers usually are not usually used in the same sentence. My 2001E is great, quality is not what it used to be compared to my old 300TDT, but neither is the 220 vs the 140 (my 92). It is all glitz and electronics, the stuff we ***** about when we talk about our 50s and 60s cars. Starmark is great insurance if you dont have to use it very often.

E500
I shopped around in D.C. Almost bought a E320 with E2 and E5 with 3800 miles at Euromotorcars. Negotiated starmark at 43,900. Went there a day later to purchase and the car was sold. I hear both Euromotorcars and American Service Center have many Nav returns. I eventually went to New York City at MB of Manhattan to buy a E500. Starmark, E2 with 11600 miles for 47,900. Every place I called in the D.C. area has the E500 for 54K or above. Also tried MB of Wilmington, D.E. Talk to Mike Roth. He has a E320 Jade Black/Ash E2 heated seats and CD changer for $42K. I was going to buy this car but my wife hates the jade (green) color in the sunlight. So we got a E500.
