Newbie Question

Hello everyone;
I'm not only new to this form, but new to the whole world of Mercedes as well (I've always been a BMW guy). Lately, a lot of Mercedes have been catching my eye (Mostly the W211 E Class). Anyway, to get to my question; I've been considering adding a later model W211 E Class (probably an E350 4matic) to my family of cars. When looking around I see that some have exhaust tips while others don't. For example: I was looking at a 2007 E350 4matic that had an exhaust tip on either side while another one of the same year did not. Can anyone tell me what determines whether or not they have exhaust tips?

Thank you so much in advance

The E350 with the tips has the sport package. The package includes exhaust tips in bumper cut out, larger 18" wheels and tires, staggered tire sizes, blue tinted windows, sport style front bumper with different fog lights and a few other items. I have a 2007 e350 w/sport pkg. and love it. also have e500 with sport pkg. the e350 is much more fun to drive

I would do reliability research before buying a MB.
