Battery problem.
Hi everyone .As I am new to this forum and I would like someone to help me with some problem I am having with my car.It is a 2004 eclass 2.7 and it started with the siren going off for no reason and the flashing lights going off as well.I did buy a new battery thinking that the old one was just old.The same problem was happening for some 2 months and I kept disconnecting the battery until it stopped and than another problem just appeared the battery it is going flat in a matter of 24 hours.Can someone give me some advice if there is a connection between the faulty siren and the battery going flat.I would really appreciate any help.Thank You.

Not sure about the 270 but my 211 had a battery control relay in the trunk attached to the battery. There is a relay internally that switches power. IF the relay fails you have to repalce the BCM. You can't replace the relay I took my old one apart and could not get a replacement relay. The new part is around $400. Battery Control Module. Check it out. You can also measure the CURRENT / AMP flow after the car has been parked 30 minutes. If this flow is high you can begin to pull fuses until you get it to drop. That will give you a clue to the location of the draw. I did all the fuse pulling and nothing helped until I pulled and changed the BCM.
