Wow @ this question...

First off, what kind of racing? Street racing? Autocross racing? Club (track) racing? Drag racing?

Secondly, not that we won't help you, but make sure you are in the E55/E63 AMG forums in the future this is the regular W211. You probably want the firmest suspension setting in any case to minimize weight transfer and keep a sharp response. Manual mode might be fastest if you are good at shifting and can effectively control your acceleration before torque drops off. Otherwise auto sport mode is best, I wouldn't race in dyno mode unless you want to completely turn off the most of the electronic systems... you seem new at this so I wouldn't try my luck at that.

Welcome to the forums by the way.

Really dude? I'm not trying to be rude... but you're not putting a whole lot of effort into your questions. The M6 has been produced from 1983-1989, 2005-2010, 2012 to now. And you specify only that he has an M6? Asking if you should race the car in dyno mode? Also, what KIND OF EXHAUST? Did you do headers as well? If you're talking about some eBay cat-back system which I feel you probably are, you won't realize any horsepower gains from a supporting mod on a supercharged platform unless you are forcing more air through the system.

Amazing. This is something that you would see on the Honda Civic forums... you should really re-evaluate the car you drive if your only concern is drag racing an M6 and you're not sure how to squeeze performance out of an automatic transmission...

I'm trying to be respectful but I think you need to respect your car and others around it first.

Search on the W211 AMG thread, there are multiple posts for drag racing. For instance, you want the suspension soft so you do get weight transfer to the rear to improve grip.

For road course, you can find some info, but best bet is to get an instructor first time out.

If you're street racing you don't respect anyone else on the road. It's very dangerous and you're putting their lives at stake just so you can race your car. Way to many innocent people die because of street racers.
Sometimes you have to think of people other than yourself. If you want to race take it to the track.

What are you 16 dude? Spend $30 take it to your local drag strip test and tune night and run it there.

"I dont disrespect anyone unless they are talking smack"
I'm a small kid and I still don't take **** from anyone. Why? Because I DON'T PLAY INTO THEIR GAME. That's the number one way you're going to get yourself into trouble, is that if you're weak enough to abuse your MB and street race because some kid in an Impreza with exhaust pulls up next to you and you feel the need to prove yourself. You drive a Benz, the fact you car about street racing other people so much is a bit ridiculous why don't you take it to the track or just get over the fact that A) you don't need to prove yourself you have an AMG and B) there are always faster/nicer cars out there.

Get over yourself man.

OK, this thread has been reported for language, grammar, punctuation, spelling, and general attitude.

Lets make sure this sandbox stays mostly clean; i.e. if you mess it up don't expect others to clean it.

We can all start over.

im not a professional but I did put 70k on my e500 sport, its not an e55 yes I understand, but I'd say stiffen/lower the suspension put it in manual turn off traction but just know how to control the throttle at lift off otherwise ul lose time with spin. Now if your not familiar with the cars rear brute force, be careful with turning the traction off. I just do it so I know theres no computer holding me back. cheers, good luck, be careful, be smart.. if people don't like my comment please don't go bashing on and on like you did hear cause I wont give two and a half.....

I'm not quite sure what you mean I should act immature and street race because I'm young? What kind of logic is that? I meet plenty of awesome people driving responsibly and not street racing. You come on here asking for advice on how to street race your car because you have "full exhaust" and you expect me not to tell you how I think that's an incredibly immature way to enjoy your car? Move on man. I'm done.
