Mobile DVD install

For those who have not seen the picture of my DVD screens, its below

Very easy install as the seats allow you to tuck in the cabling, and the brackets allow headrest screens which would otherwise be impossible - the E class headrests are not made big enough for a built in screen.

The DVD unit is under the passanger seat.

The system uses remote control, and infra red headphones, The screens have built in speakers if required.

Can be removed in 10 minutes but I rather like it and so intend to leave them in.

Can you adjust the headrest hight or must you keep them in the highest position when the screens are in place?

The system is manufactured by Centurion. 6 inch screens. Plays CDs DVD and MP3. Built in speakers and infrared headphones.

With 1 screen and headphones etc was £379.99. Had to buy an additonal screen £250

See www.argos.co.uk - this is a UK shopping site.

Takes 10 minutes to install once you know where to put everything.

Nice picture akmal. I like to mounting brackets - they would help hide the screen lead - I plan to find out if they are available separately.

Thanks for posting the pic - it does look good.

i think its a special order b,coz its not stated in the price list......
i was on www.drivethedeal.com (uk brokers) and was getting a price from them on an E320 CDI and when i was looking thru the options i saw the package......the package was the new command with the nokia phone installed and two screens in the back headrests........so i took the price of the command away and the phone installation away and came up with the £1,200 figure

ask ur delear if u can order it coz ive only seen it on tht website i mentioned

I have checked with MB and the DVD screen set up pictured by akmal is not supplied by them. They are planning it for next year - but not yet. They also suggested it would be more than £1200...

Looks like a trip to a auto trimmer to see what they can come up with - the picture posted by Akmal will be useful though.
